The production was a fast-paced, two-day shoot across two locations, featuring green screen technology, dedicated volunteers, and a standout lead actor who seamlessly tied the narrative together. The final video delivered a dynamic, engaging visual story, effectively bringing EnerNOC’s value proposition to life.

To highlight the powerful capabilities of EnerNOC’s Energy Intelligence Software (EIS), we developed an interactive, self-guided demo for the EnergySMART conference. Designed for iPads and touchscreen computers, the demo provided attendees with an engaging, hands-on experience to explore the software’s features at their own pace.

  • Accessed over 400 times during the 3-day conference, demonstrating strong attendee engagement.

This high-impact, user-driven experience allowed conference participants to gain firsthand insights into how EnerNOC’s software could transform energy management, making it a key component of the event’s digital engagement strategy.

EnerNOC Website Redesign

The EnerNOC website redesign was a fast-paced, high-impact project to position the company’s new Energy Intelligence Software (EIS) in time for the annual EnergySMART user conference. With only five months until the event, the team rapidly mobilized to define the creative and strategic vision, ensuring a seamless digital experience aligned with EnerNOC’s evolving brand and product offering.

Key Initiatives:

  • Developed a comprehensive creative brief and strategic roadmap.

  • Evaluated and onboarded design and development agencies to support execution.

  • Conducted writing workshops and assigned content development tasks to the marketing team.

  • Engaged internal and external usability participants to refine the user experience.

  • Aligned website design with the broader conference experience, ensuring a cohesive brand presence.

Despite the aggressive timeline, the cross-functional team—including designers, copywriters, developers, project managers, and internal stakeholders—delivered the new website with two weeks to spare. In parallel, the team successfully executed the three-day EnergySMART conference, welcoming 700+ attendees and ensuring the digital and live event experiences were completed on time and within budget.

Timeline Installation – Celebrating $1 Billion in Customer Savings

EnerNOC celebrated a major milestone—$1 billion in customer savings achieved through its Energy Intelligence Software. To commemorate this achievement, a custom illustration was commissioned for the walls of the company’s Boston, MA headquarters. The illustrator brought the vision to life in just two weeks, creating a visually stunning timeline that spanned two floors, capturing EnerNOC’s innovation and impact in the energy sector.

As the company evolved, so did the timeline. In 2018, it was extended to a third section in the office to mark the launch of the Enel X brand, reinforcing the company’s transformation and ongoing leadership in the energy industry. This dynamic installation serves as both a historical record and an inspiration, celebrating EnerNOC’s journey and future in energy intelligence.

A Hub for Energy Thought Leadership – EnergySmart Blog

The EnergySmart blog is a premier thought leadership platform designed to inform and educate industry professionals on key topics such as energy management, procurement, and demand response. As part of a comprehensive redesign, the user experience (UX) and content strategy were completely overhauled to enhance engagement and usability.

Built on the Drupal 7 platform, the website is fully responsive, ensuring seamless access across devices. The new design prioritizes intuitive navigation, compelling insights, and a user-friendly experience, making it a go-to resource for energy professionals seeking the latest industry trends and best practices.
